Notice Description

NHS Lothian requires to purchase 2 pods fitted to existing cubicles within the Emergency Department. This will enable the department to safely isolate patients and provide additional capacity for the emergency treatment of patients with confirmed or suspected infectious diseases prior to their admission, discharge or transfer from the Emergency Department. Pods should have the ability to limit the flow of pathogens within clinical environments and reduce spread of infection to patients, staff and other members of the public. Pods need to ensure that visibility of patients and their observation is maintained at all times.
