Notice Description

This is a Contract Award notice and as such this process is now complete. WES's first call technology area was for secondary energy conversion technologies (Power Take-Off (PTO) systems), which closed on 22 May 2015. This call took the form of a three stage programme, with applications originally invited for all three stages. The process to move from one stage within the process on to the next is known as the "Stage Gate Process". To ensure adequate technical expertise is available during the assessment of stage gate applications, WES have appointed two suitably qualified and experienced individuals who can provide independent, impartial expert advice and will read and independently evaluate a number of applications, covering both technical and commercial elements.

They are required to provide written and verbal feedback/analysis of applications as part of the Stage Gate evaluation process. The assessors are also going to attend contractor visits in Scotland prior to the application process, the contractor presentations and the evaluation meetings.
