In October 2016, Shetland Islands Council (SIC) signed the Household Recycling Charter. The charter is a declaration SIC's intent to provide services that deliver local and national benefits, encouraging high-levels of citizen participation in waste prevention, recycling and reuse. Shetland Islands Council supported by Zero Waste Scotland require a contractor to provide communications project management support to aid the effective communication of the introduction of a waste collection service in line with the Household Recycling Charter and associated Code of Practice to households in the Shetland Islands. Requirements This project is broken down into 3 phases and each phase comprises several milestones. Progression to the next milestone is dependent on successful delivery of the previous milestones. All dates indicated are subject to change.
