Market Research - Multisport Synthetic Pitch
Notice Description
East Ayrshire Council propose to install a new synthetic pitch at Stewarton Academy (KA3 5QF) which will enable Football, Hockey & Multisports to be undertaken. The Council are intending to carrying out market intelligence with suitably experienced contractors, offering advice and technical information on the types of surface available and which can meet both International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) requirements, as well as potential other sports. The project value is 900,000 GBP with a site start January 2018 with completion by August 2018.

East Ayrshire Council propose to install a new synthetic pitch at Stewarton Academy (KA3 5QF) which will enable Football, Hockey & Multisports to be undertaken. The Council are intending to carrying out market intelligence with suitably experienced contractors, offering advice and technical information on the types of surface available and which can meet both International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) requirements, as well as potential other sports. The project value is GBP900,000 with a site start January 2018 with completion by August 2018. Contractors are invited to apply through the portal by completing the attached questionnaire and returning it to john.guyler@east-ayrshire.gov.uk. No additional marketing material will be accepted at this stage. The closing date for return of questionnaires is close of business, Monday 31st July 2017. The Council shall then review the returns and select a shortlist covering a variety of methods. Consultations are anticipated to take place on 1st August 2017 at the Councils offices in Kilmarnock. Please be advised that due to the size of the response anticipated that unsuccessful companies will not hear back.
