Supply of Acoustic Recorders for Underwater Noise Measurement
Notice Description
This reuirement is for the supply of up to 20 acoustic recorders for use in the COMPASS project. This project has been supported by the EU's INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Acoustic recorders will be used to record underwater ambient noise and vocalizations of marine species, including marine mammals and fish, in a long-term monitoring project of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in the border region of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland. The recorders should be compact and light-weight for simple deployment, with the capacity for flexible, long-term (duty-cycled) collection of broadband and acoustic detection data.
