Notice Description

The Framework is to be let for a period of approximately three-and-a-half years with the option, at the discretion of the Employer, to extend the agreement thereafter, up to a maximum of an 18-month extensions. The Client Specification for the boiler replacement (and associated works) to be carried out under the Framework Agreement are included within the Invitation to Tender Document. Please note it is Horizon Housing Association Ltd.'s intention that the use of subcontractors is minimised in the provision of these Works. The Contractor must be able to supply directly employed labour for the boiler replacement works and all associated joiner and electrical works.

The Framework is to be let for a period of approximately three-and-a-half years with the option, at the discretion of the Employer, to extend the agreement thereafter, up to a maximum of an 18-month extensions. The Client Specification for the boiler replacement (and associated works) to be carried out under the Framework Agreement are included elsewhere within this Invitation to Tender Document. Please note it is Horizon Housing Association Ltd.'s intention that the use of subcontractors is minimised in the provision of these Works. The Contractor must be able to supply directly employed labour for the boiler replacement works and all associated joiner and electrical works. The works comprise the replacement of the existing domestic gas heating boilers with new A rated gas combination condensing boilers and all associated works, all in accordance with the Client Specification included elsewhere within this document. The Contractor will be required to conduct full surveys prior to commencement of works in conjunction with the Client and/or the Employer's Agent to facilitate the preparation of an installation plan for each boiler upgrade which will identify all works associated with the installation. Each installation plan must be prepared at the time of the march-in survey and a copy provided to the tenant for signature and have all associated works i.e. boxing in, flue positioning, programmer location, etc. confirmed. A further copy is to be provided thereafter to Horizon Housing Association Ltd. No works shall commence in any property prior to Horizon Housing Association Ltd. being in receipt of a signed and dated copy of the relevant installation plan (including tenants signature) showing proposed location of boiler, the location and sizing of any boxing in of pipework, the location of all flue runs and programmer location as well as any other relevant information pertaining to the new boiler installation. Upon completion of all work in each property the Contractor shall provide the Association with all relevant Completion and Commissioning Certification (including Landlord's Gas Safety Certificate) for that property within three working days.

Renewal: The Framework Agreement shall be for a period of three-and-a-half years with the option, at the discretion of the Employer, to extend the agreement thereafter, up to a maximum of an additional 18 month extension.
