Notice Description
Glasgow Clyde College is committed to the delivery of a high quality educational experience. The objective of procuring this equipment is to facilitate the delivery of the Animal Cell Culture Unit thereby enhancing the overall student experience on our HN Science courses. Having a basic cell culture facility in the college will give learners practical hands on experience of working with animal cells - a skill which will improve their future employment and educational opportunities.The supply and delivery of the Incubator for Tissue Culture under this contract should include:1. A Fan circulated or fanless convection circulation Incubator suitable for Tissue Culture2. The incubator must have a minimum capacity of 48 litres and a maximum capacity of 100 Litres.3. The Successful supplier must provide an Incubator with an inner glass door.4. Digital Display of temperatures5. Temperature range of approximately ambient to 50cWarranty1. The Successful supplier must provide a Standard Warranty for a minimum of one year.1.2 The Successful supplier should also provide an option to extend the Warranty beyond the standard times.2. The Successful supplier must also provide the availability of parts for the equipment for minimum of five years after initial purchase.DeliveryThe goods will be delivered, unless otherwise stated to Glasgow Clyde College's Langside Campus: 50 Prospecthill Rd. Glasgow, G42 9LB. Delivery times must be advised in advance to the College or their representative by e-mail no less than 5 working days prior to delivery. Delivery hours on site will be Monday to Friday: 0800-1700hrs, unless advised otherwise by the College or their Representative.The preferred delivery of the goods to the location above is week commencing 27th November 2017.Contract StartContract start will commence upon issue of first Purchase Order and Contract end will be upon receipt of goods, unless otherwise stated.Fees and CostsAny rates and prices shall be deemed inclusive of all additional expenses howsoever incurred, in relation to this contract.
