Notice Description

The successful Candidate will be responsible for the installation of replacement gas fired combination boilers [and provisionally CH systems], including: mechanical powerflush, supply of EPC certificates and all associated works/ alterations to provide fully functioning gas fired hot water & heating systems in in 56 flats/ houses at Various Addresses, Castlemilk , Glasgow G45. A comprehensive itemised description of the contract requirements and addresses is contained within the Specification of Works.

The deadline for submissions to be uploaded to the PCS tender postbox is the time & date stated in the Contract Notice. If you have any queries in relation to the tender/ submission process, you must enquire using the question/ answer facility on the PCS Quick Quotes web portal. Tender evaluation The tender will comprise the Capability Document [based on ESPD format], your quality score for the TQQ; and the Contract Sum stated on the Form of Tender. The submitted Capability Document Submission will be assessed as a pass or fail to identify contractors who pass the thresholds, only for those contractors who pass- The criteria for scoring will be to reach a total percentage score as follows: Price (tender)- deducting 1% from 100 for every percentage point each tender is in excess of the lowest tender, prior to weighting. Quality- out of 100 for your TQQ submission, ranked in relation to the other candidates. The candidates will be scored relative to each other (best answer scoring highest), based on the Employer's individual aspirations/ requirements and the information provided by the candidate(s).

Options: The contract is for the provision of Boiler [& provisional CH] Replacements and associated works for approximately 56 kitchens during 2017-18, with options to extend the contract solely at the Employer's discretion on an annual basis thereafter to 31st March 2022. Works to be carried out within occupied houses/ flats at various addresses in Castlemilk, Glasgow G45.

Renewal: The contract is for the provision of Boiler [& provisional CH] Replacements and associated works for approximately 56 kitchens during 2017-18, with options to extend the contract solely at the Employer's discretion on an annual basis thereafter to 31st March 2022. Works to be carried out within occupied houses/ flats at various addresses in Castlemilk, Glasgow G45.
