Notice Title

Support for the Circular Economy Acceleration Centre

Notice Description

Zero Waste Scotland requires the services of an agency (the contractor) capable of developing a wide range of engaging digital content and interactive solutions that can be used to help build an audience for, and to drive engagement through our websites to meet the objectives of the CEAC. Zero Waste Scotland will provide access to all of our existing knowledge, expertise and contacts to support delivery, and we are keen to work with a supplier who will embrace this in-depth working relationship to understand the requirements, translating then into a strong digital content solution.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The contractor will be expected to participate in the circular economy messaging workshops, and to review the outcomes from these workshops and the internal research exercise to identify content formats that will most effectively engage with target audiences (i.e. businesses), ensuring that there is a strong correlation between messaging outcomes and digital content requirements, and that the content uses their language and addresses their concerns. The contractor will then develop a detailed digital content strategy that identifies the types of content / tool required for the website, for agreement with and approval by Zero Waste Scotland. While we want the contractor to bring expertise and fresh ideas to the project, we do have some initial ideas that can be explored collaboratively. Thereafter, the contractor will be responsible for creating or developing and supplying creative and / or interactive content and tools identified within the digital content strategy, as identified and agreed with Zero Waste Scotland. It is expected that the contractor will engage in detail with various Zero Waste Scotland staff throughout this process to understand the content requirement, to confirm appropriate tone and terminology, and to access and align the relevant skills, knowledge and experience of both parties during the development and creation process. On request from Zero Waste Scotland, the contractor will provide detail of the anticipated time (effort) required to deliver any task or activity identified within the digital content strategy, including associated costs as relevant. These will be agreed with Zero Waste Scotland prior to the commencement of any work. Where additional time (effort) is likely to be required and / or further cost incurred, this must be raised with Zero Waste Scotland before proceeding.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
