Relevant interventions are at the level of group, (inter) organisation, community, whole population and systems. This should be distinguished from clinical interventions that treat individual patients\". Projects that apply for the Health Improvement Fund funding will need to show that they address health improvement as defined above. The project must address health inequalities and target individuals and groups at risk of poorer health outcomes as a result of inequality.
