Pelagic Trial of Fully Documented Fisheries with Remote Electronic Management System
Notice Description
The Scottish Ministers wish to run a trial to develop procedures which can ensure that compliance with the pelagic Landing Obligation can be effectively monitored on the newer class of pelagic vessel. Instead of a monetary payment, the Owner will be allocated a fishing quota. Participating vessels will receive 230 tonnes of mackerel quota for 2018, worth GBP150,000 in at the 2015 average price.

Scottish Ministers wish to run a trial to develop procedures which can ensure that compliance with the pelagic Landing Obligation can be effectively monitored on the newer class of pelagic vessel. The Contract will run for a period of 18 months commencing on 1 January 2018 and running until 31 July 2019. Instead of a monetary payment, the Owner will be allocated a fishing quota. Participating vessels will receive 230 tonnes of mackerel quota for 2018, worth GBP150,000 in at the 2015 average price.
