Notice Description
A collaborative framework agreement for West Dunbartonshire Council, East Dunbartonshire Council and Inverclyde Council for roads civil engineering works.
Lot Information
Large Works
The framework will be ranked and can be accessed via call-off's for "Packages of Works" in line with the Terms & Conditions of Contract, and will cover the following areas /disciplines: - Series 100: Preliminaries - Series 200: Site Clearance - Series 500: Drainage & Service Ducts - Series 600: Earthworks - Series 700: Pavements/Patching (Machine Laid) - Series 1100: Kerbs, Footways & Paved Areas - Series 1200: Traffic Signs & Roads Markings - Series 7000: Adjustment Items Bidders must ensure that they price for all items within all series. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the tender.. There will be a maximum of 6 contractors awarded on this lot.

Bidders are required to complete all items within all \"Series\" within the Price List. 4B.4 Ratios - a pass in any two of the three ratios is an overall Pass for Economic and Financial standing. - (Ratio 1) Acid Test - (Current Assets-stock)/Current Liabilities. To pass the Acid Test Ratio question the bidder must have a score of greater than 1. - (Ratio 2) Return on Capital Employed %- Profit/Capital employed. To pass this question the Council require the bidder to score a positive figure/Percentage. - (Ratio 3) Current Ratio - Current Assets/Liabilities. To pass this question the Council require the bidder to achieve a score of greater than 1. WDC will use template WD09 - WDC Financial Vetting Questionnaire v1.0, it is recommended that candidates review their own ratio scores in advance of submitting their tender. In the event that a firm does not meet the financial criteria for consideration but has a parent company that does, the firm may still be eligible for consideration where their Tender Submission is supported by a Parent Company Guarantee WD04 - Parent Company Guarantee. Should after review of the financial evaluation of tenderer fail, then the tender submission may be rejected.
