Works also include replacement of associated constant temperature heating pump sets, modification to constant temperature heating distribution circuits, ductwork alterations, and alterations to the existing building management systems (BMS). Pool hall ventilation and heating facilities will be inoperative throughout the duration of works, and therefore, the Contractor will be required to engage a pool plant specialist to drain and replenish the pool as part of the works, as defined within this specification. Works are to be undertaken within the existing boiler plant room area, which will remain live and operational throughout the Contract. Therefore, careful consideration must be given by the Contractor in terms of segregating works areas and ensuring the safety of any personnel within the plant room area.
