Notice Description

The supplier shall be required to manage the calibration process of the calibrated assets on behalf of SPT. This managed contract will be required until the end of life of the existing rolling stock and signalling system (approximately 4 years) SPT's Engineering & Maintenance department are required to deliver a safe and reliable train service. This requires all assets to be regularly maintained and repaired using calibrated tools and test equipment (calibrated assets) which require regular calibration. The objective of this contracted service is to ensure that all SPT calibrated assets remain compliant within specified tolerance ranges and calibration certification dates. 4.3 Appendix A. lists the calibrated assets SPT currently hold which require calibration; the supplier shall calibrate on a managed service basis all assets in the table.
