Blackwood Homes and Care (Blackwood) is now a national organisation with over 1,500 tenanted properties, 4 care homes, and over 200,000 hours of care at home provided across Scotland. Blackwood wishes to arrange a formal contract for the provision of Internal Audit Services. The internal audit services required will include, but not be limited to: ? Planning, managing and executing four audits per year. ? Completing an annual follow-up audit to confirm that Blackwood has met the recommendations from previous audits. ? Reporting on internal audit progress to Blackwood's Audit Committee, including attendance at Committee and Board meetings as appropriate. ? Provision of advice to Blackwood Management and Audit Committee as required. ? Liaison and coordination with Blackwood's external auditors to ensure full exchange of information.
