Notice Description
Following the transfer of employees from Renfrewshire Council to Renfrewshire Leisure, the company now has different employees terms and conditions in place across the workforce. In addition, the company is also undergoing a period of major change of which will requires changes in the present and future staffing complement and skills necessary for the future. The company is now looking to appoint a HR Consultant to support the management team and wider company through this period of change.

Lot 1
The successful appointee will be expected to plan, advise and support the implementation of a revised pay model, development and implementation of affordable and flexible terms and conditions and workforce plan to ensure the company remains sustainable and fit for purpose in the medium to long term. It is anticipated that the first stage of the process to identify optimum workforce structures will be completed by 31 March 2018.

"description": "Renfrewshire Leisure is a registered charity and company limited which was established in 2003 to operate sports and recreational facilities and services on behalf of Renfrewshire Council. During 2015, Renfrewshire Leisure expanded to include the management and operation of leisure and cultural facilities and services across Renfrewshire; as a result, Renfrewshire Leisure doubled in size in one year, increasing from 400+ employees to 800+ employees and in turnover terms from GBP10m to GBP18m. Renfrewshire Leisure has approximately 852 employees employed on a full time, part time or casual basis within three divisions - Cultural Services; Finance and Corporate Services ; Leisure and Community Services. Overall, the workforce profile is fairly well balanced in terms of age and gender; the profile of some services is out with this norm. Leisure services has a younger workforce profile and library services has an older workforce.
