Notice Description

The Science Skills Academy (SSA) is a partnership project between Highlands and Islands Enterprise, the University of the Highlands and Islands, Skills Development Scotland and the Highland Council. Its mission is to ensure that young people in the Highlands and Islands are inspired by Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), are aware of the career opportunities in these sectors, and have the skills to enter into employment in the STEM areas. HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide the requirements as outlined in the Scope of Requirements, whilst offering best value in the expenditure of public funds.

The contract is anticipated to be awarded for 51 months. It is estimated that the total value of these services over the 51 months of the contract will be between GBP 80,000 and GBP 100,000 excluding VAT. In addition bidders are asked to price for an optional virtual learning platform as part of their submission. The combined value of both parts should not exceed GBP 125,000
