Notice Description

This is a Contract Award Notice and as such the procurement process has now ended. HIE utilises ScotGrad (www.scotgrad.co.uk) to deliver both a Graduate Placement and a Student Placement Programme. It is a multi-partner programme, in the Highlands and Islands it is funded by HIE and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide the following requirements, whilst offering best value in the expenditure of public funds: - Develop suitable training materials - Deliver the residential training courses - Evaluate the training materials and content The Contract has been awarded for 37 months with an optional 1 year extension. The figure in II.1.6 is the total value of services over the maximum duration of the contract (incl optional extension).

Lot 1

The services will be required from September 2018 for a period of 3 years and 1 month (37 months - contract expected to in Sept 2018 and is let until Oct 2021), unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Terms and Conditions, with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Options: HIE may choose to modify this contract where for example, the delivery of similar services are required. The Contract might be modified in the future - some examples, including but not limited to: - Venue change outwith HIE's control - Additional content required due to new topics especially related to technology becoming vital for the success of the graduate/student placements - Delivery a 5th graduate training course / year if there is sufficient demand.

Renewal: The Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 37 months with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term.
