"description": "Since 2016, IAD has undergone a period of significant expansion and now provides audit services to a large number of Public Sector clients. The IAD staff count has almost doubled to meet the increased demand for audit services. These new members of staff require a foundation in internal audit theory, methodology and industry best practice. In line with HM Treasury Public Sector Internal Audit Standards (PSIAS), the CIA qualification has been identified as the most suitable course to meet our requirements. Potential suppliers will be assessed on the likelihood of the proposed training programme delivering a competent, fully accredited initial cohort within the three year timetable. Potential suppliers will be expected to indicate whether they have delivered similar training programmes previously and if so to provide relevant metrics evidencing past performance. The suggested team will also be considered when awarding the framework agreement. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate access to competent course tutors who can understand and communicate the training content to an audience, and who can afford students regular access and appropriate pastoral care.
