Lot Information
Lot 1
SE is now half way through an Open Innovation Pilot Programme and is seeing the benefits that the cohort companies are reaping. In response to this, SE wishes to engage a partner to design and deliver a structured development programme including a series of workshops over a 2 year period aimed predominantly towards large (250+ employees) companies to support the development of OI skills and promote and enable collaboration opportunities amongst the Scottish supply chain. Learning should focus on: OI processes and models, employee-engagement, managing cultural change, the collaboration process, defining challenges, and funding opportunities. This project will seek to establish a Scottish solver community by facilitating collaboration between large Scottish companies and the SME base. Over the 24 month period of this project it is anticipated that the participating companies will be introduced to Open Innovation best practice in the areas of organisational culture, inclusive innovation, crowdsourcing, problem solving, technology scouting/landscaping, co-production, collaboration and employee engagement. It is expected that each of the companies participating in the programme should by end of year be assured of the benefits of Open Innovation and this will be evidenced by companies launching and promoting Open Innovation challenges to seek innovative solutions from SMEs across Scotland and beyond. The partner will be responsible for: - Assisting Scottish Enterprise to Identify companies that would benefit from a more Open approach to innovation - Creating the agenda/content for cohort meetings which will take place quarterly - Identify and engage keynote speakers in the area of Open Innovation - Present Open Innovation methodologies and tools to the cohort companies - Bringing expertise and know-how to facilitate the cohort in a creative way - Gathering intelligence from the cohort of companies in relation to the development of the workshop series to ensure appropriate content is delivered across the programme. - Gathering intelligence on the methodologies being adopted by the individual companies to implement OI within their respective organisations - Gathering evidence of the outputs and outcomes from OI implementation - Developing case studies where appropriate and in line with company's protocols Further information can be found within the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document.
