Lot 1

It is intended to refresh and enhance security systems at The State Hospital. The Hospital is fitted with a suite of integrated security measures which are to be renewed, refreshed and enhanced. The security project will take place against a background of continued operations and is to cause minimum disruption to patients, staff and visitors, whilst retaining current levels of security during works. Tenderers should be aware that significant experience will be required to enable safe delivery of the project. Sector experience and successful delivery of projects thereof will be closely assessed for interested parties. Experience in successful delivery of complex integrated security systems set in Core National Infrastructure (CNI), High Secure Hospital, Category A prison, Government or Military settings in the United Kingdom or a compatible EU establishment will be a prerequisite for applicants. Applied standards will be UK derived British Standards and CE EU standards. The following questions form part of the hospitals selection process and require bidders to be very concise and clear about the role they played in the projects used as examples. The hospital will be contacting the client identified in your response. Part 2 of the ITT has the main body of the tender and it is the responsibility of the bidders having responded to the selection questions to evaluate if they feel it appropriate to move onto part 2 and complete the main response. Selection Questions and can be found in part 2 of the ITT and on the Public Contracts Scotland -Tender Site. Tell us about your previous work within Core National Infrastructure and work within an organisation that is live 24 hour 365 days per year. Has your organisation undertaken work as the principal security integrator in a CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) secure site (e.g. nuclear, petroleum, government, military, prison, high secure hospital) that was fully functioning 24 hours per day 365 days per year in the last 5 years (Please provide relevant examples) Intergration of systems and Equipment Has your organisation delivered a successful project in an live environment listed above in which: Access to site, control of tools and the requirement to be constantly escorted were present. Has your organisation delivered a successful project where the requirement for constant availability of security systems were a feature of the project. Has your organisation delivered a successful project where the volatility of site operations could significantly impact on the project and vice versa. Tell us about the achievements and the time cost and quality targets both you and the client set including any gaps in meeting expectations. Has your organisation and the employees named within your submission, experience of using the NEC3 form of Contract to deliver the projects named above within the last 5 years? (Please provide examples) Note The Hospital has a clear strategy going forward with this project of re-use, upgrade and replacement of systems or part systems, one of the main re-use element of this project is the Security Management System (SMS) (Cortech Datalog 5) As part of the hospitals strategy to re-use, upgrade and replacement Equipment and Systems, a clear decision to re-use our recently upgraded Cortech Datalog 5 system has been made. The following questions relate to the this type of security management system and your previous work. Your responses must be when your work was as the principle Security Integrator, and in relation to the responses in the above questions. Selection Question If you have used Security Management System (SMS) (Cortech Datalog 5) please tell us your experience of this when used as part of the project mentioned in the responses to the above questions.. Financial information The Financial information requested within the ESPD should be based on the Last complete 3 years.
