Notice Description

Scottish Enterprise require an experienced Contractor to undertake land raising, drainage and landscaping to properties at No 30 and 28 Roseangle Dundee located at Roseangle, west of Dundee City Centre. The purpose of this is to raise gardens above ground/surface water levels. The works involve excavation and disposal of unsuitable soils, limited land raising, landscaping, and limited hardstanding. The works include geotextile separators and a short section of geogrid reinforcement. Existing walling is to be raised in height and a new metal gate/infill panel installed. Drainage is to be installed to gardens for possible future connection to an outfall to the Tay and connected to a drain and soakaway in the SE site adjacent to Seabraes as an interim measure. Lot 1

Scottish Enterprise require an experienced Contractor to undertake land raising, drainage and landscaping to properties at No 30 and 28 Roseangle Dundee located at Roseangle, west of Dundee City Centre. The purpose of this is to raise gardens above ground/surface water levels and allow their use to be enjoyed by the residents. The works involve excavation and disposal of unsuitable soils, limited land raising in garden areas via Type 3 upfill material and topsoil plus landscaping including grass, shrubs, trees and limited hardstanding. The works include geotextile separators and a short section of geogrid reinforcement in the garden of No 30 to reduce earth pressures on the adjacent wall caused by the land rasing. Existing walling to the garden to No 30 is to be raised in height and a new metal gate/infill panel installed. Drainage is to be installed to gardens for possible future connection to an outfall to the Tay and connected to a drain and soakaway in the SE site adjacent to Seabraes as an interim measure. The Contractor should be aware that the works are to be undertaken in the garden of a building with multiple insitu residents (No 30) and should aim to minimise disruption as far as is possible. No 28 is currently vacant/ derelict and is owned by Dundee City Council. Scottish Enterprise own the adjacent Seabraes site.
