Public Realm Infrastructure Works - value up to 10 million GBP
Construction, repair and maintenance of public realm schemes that include natural stone high quality surfaces, high quality concrete paving, street furniture, green and blue infrastructure, cycle infrastructure and street lighting. Items included would be as follows:- -kerbs, setts, and slabs -bollards, signage, seating, cycle racks, hostile vehicle mitigation measures -Water Sensitive Urban Design including Rain Gardens; installation of planting beds as part of any surface water drainage scheme -Planting Areas; installation of other planting beds as part of public realm works -Street Trees; to include all underground infrastructure to support tree to maturity -Street Lighting, both statutory and architectural Works may also include elements of the following:- -Carriageway and Footway Construction and Re-Construction (Bituminous and Concrete) -Carriageway and Footway Resurfacing (Bituminous and Concrete) -Carriageway and Footway Patching (Bituminous and Concrete) -Insitu Recycling -Drainage (pipes and fittings, ironwork, proprietary ironwork repair systems, catchpits, inspection chamber, culverts, drain cleaning, sump emptying and CCTV surveys) -Earthworks / Remediation -Site Clearance -Signing / Lining -Traffic Management

"description": "It is anticipated that the procurement will commence early in May 2018, with appointments to a Framework being made in December 2018. It is envisaged that individual work packages will vary in value up to a maximum value of 20 million GBP and will be procured via mini-competitions over a four year period. It is anticipated that the Form of Contract for the Framework Agreement will be the Council's standard terms and conditions and the Call-off terms that will apply to each order placed under the Framework Agreement will be NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (as amended by the Local Authority). The market engagement questionnaire is available within the attachments section of this notice.
