Nature: Roof repairs and replacement to flat and pitched roofs within South Ayrshire Council's Property Portfolio. Typical works include: i) Erecting and dismantling scaffolding ii) Removing defective roof coverings and disposing iii) Renewing and repairing flat and pitched roof coverings e.g. felt, slates, tiles, liquid plastic, limited mastic asphalt iv) Associated repairs/replacement e.g. rafters, sarking, fascias, verges, rooflights etc. v) Leadwork repairs and replacement vi) Investigating and repairing roof leaks generally vii) Making good internal finishings e.g. plasterboard ceilings etc. viii) Repairing/replacing rainwater goods ix) Cleaning out gutters and downpipes x) Possibly some high level painterwork e.g. fascias, gutters

Renewal: Option for SAC to extend for a further 1 or 2 years (beyond 2 year contract period) at SAC's sole discretion (reviewed annually).
