Clyde Gateway Developments Ltd. seeks to appoint a main contractor to construct phase 1R of a main spine road (with associated footways and services) at Shawfield phase 2, Glasgow.

Lot 1

The successful contractor will be responsible for the following: - Removal of existing boundary fences, obstructions etc.; - Construction of new road, footways and verges, length 250m approx.; - Earthworks to desired levels to allow construction of new road; - Breaking up of ground floor slabs, hardstandings and existing roads and surfaces along route of new road; - Stopping Up / grubbing up of existing roads infrastructure; - Management and attendance of multi-utility disconnection / diversions works; - Management and attendance of new utilities supply / connections to enable site for development; - Installation of surface water drainage, SUDS features and land drainage elements; - Installation of foul drainage elements; and - Traffic management to maintain use of Toryglen Street and Queensferry Street for vehicle and pedestrian access to existing properties.
