The Scottish Government is seeking to commission a feasibility study to evaluate the requirement and potential location for an ultra-deep water port. This project is being commissioned by the Energy and Climate Change Directorate of the Scottish Government to support the ambitions laid out in the Programme for Government 2017-18 that we will invest in an multi-use Ultra-Deep Water quayside (24m or greater) to be established in Scotland.
