Notice Description
The contract is for the supply of all Hand Sanitiser, Hand Moisturisers, Hand Wash, Anti-bacterial hand wash and systems to all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, SpecialHealth Boards and the Authority) together with independent contractors to NHS Scotland such as dentists,general medical practitioners, pharmacists, opticians etc.

Hand Moisturiser We envisage awarding 8 suppliers to this Lot.
Renewal: the option to extend by 1 x 12 month period.
Hand WashLiquid and/or foam hand wash products to be used in all clinical settings. We envisage awarding 8 suppliers to this Lot.

(3) Samples, descriptions and/or photographs, the authenticity of which must be certified if the contracting authority so requests. (4) A statement of the principal goods sold or services provided by the supplier or the services provider in the past 3 years, detailing the dates on which the goods were sold or the services provided; the consideration received; the identity of the person to whom the goods were sold or the services were provided. Bidders are required to provide evidence to show that all products are Manufactured to EN:ISO9001:2008 or equivalent Bidders are required to evidence that each product is fully traceable by lot / batch number to the manufacturer. Bidders are required to provide the stated minimum range of products which fulfill the basket of goods for each applicable lot in the ITT document. Bidders are required to evidence that the Hand Hygiene products and services are or have been in use by health care customers . Accordingly potential framework participants must submit with their tenders. A statement of goods provided in the last 3 years and: (i) the value of the contracts. (ii) the identity of (a minimum of 2 healthcare customers) persons to whom the goods were sold or the services were provided, including address, phone and email. Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Lot One (1) Hand Sanitiser These should be free from methylisothiazolinone (or MI/MIT) or methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) or combinations of both. It is a requirement that alcohol hand Sanitiser products contain minimum 70% alcohol. All Hand Sanitiser products must be manufactured to comply with BSEN1500 The required Hand Sanitiser must be either Gel, Foam or Liquid. Tendered products are required to be Fragrance free / Unperfumed. Accessories are important for these products Please confirm that a full range of accessories are available. These should include clips, brackets and dispensers) as appropriate It is a requirement that Bidders must offer a Tamper Proof Pump Option (Bed / Wall) for alcohol hand Sanitisers. Lot Two (2) Hand Moisturiser These should be free from methylisothiazolinone (or MI/MIT) or methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) or combinations of both Please confirm that your tendered moisturiser is a water based product and not based on some other substance such as oil. Tendered products are required to be Fragrance free / Unperfumed. Lot Three (3) Hand Wash Please confirm the products are free from methylisothiazolinone (or MI/MIT) or methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) or combinations of both Please confirm the products are free from benzylkonium chloride It is a requirement that tendered Hand Wash products are manufactured to comply with BSEN1499.
