Cloud Hosting for Social Security

Please note that this is a Contract Award Notice. This contract has now been awarded. Please do not respond to this notice. Scottish Ministers require a Supplier to provide Cloud Hosting services to support the delivery of SG's Strategy for Social Security and Digital Transformation. The purpose of the contract is: Definition and Creation of a cloud-based hosting platform; Align to Scottish Government Digital First Strategy; Social Security Directorate (SSD) owned and operated; Support for Low Income Benefits development and test hosted deliverable, and beyond. Continue the definition and creation of a SSD owned cloud-based hosting platform for the provision of the types of environments required by SSD. Environments include but are not limited to: Development; Testing and Training; Pre-Production; Production.

Options: The requirement for Cloud Hosting is scalable. The initial contract duration is 24 months with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 12 months each. The Total value of the procurement (at section II.1.7 of this notice) is an estimate over a 4 year period. It is expected that the final contract value will be within 30% of the estimated contract value stated.
