Notice Description

Stirling Council is looking to award a contract for the design and build of a district heating network in the Forthside area of Stirling, in accordance with the drawings and specification attached with the notice, to achieve a reliable network with a long life and low maintenance requirements. The district heating network would be owned and operated by Stirling Council with heat provision from an energy centre which is being built at Scottish Water's Stirling Waste Water Treatment Works (WWTW). The energy centre will be owned and operated by Scottish Water Horizons. The district heating network will provide heat to a number of identified end users in the Forthside area, with the potential for future expansion of the network in line with the regeneration of the area.

Stirling Council is looking to award a contract for the design and build of a district heating network in the Forthside area of Stirling, in accordance with the drawings and specification attached with the notice to achieve a reliable network with a long life and low maintenance requirements. Options: The duration of the design and build element of this contract will be approximately 6 months. The Council reserves the right to take up an option for Operation and Maintenance. The duration of this option would be approximately 60 months.
