By replacing the main water booster HMP Barlinnie are expected to reduce the need for maintenance and increase HMP Barlinnie's overall energy efficiency. HMP Barlinnie are also looking to have a Bowser installed for manually pumping water into the establishment in the event of a pump failure or power cut.

This is a non OJEU project and will use the Public Contracts Scotland Tender (PCS-T)portal for all submissions and clarifications. This project will have a site visit the date of which will be advised in the full ITT and it is highly recommended that those looking to tender should attend to gain a grasp of the area the works will be in.. A site visit will be held on Thursday, 12th July 2018
