Maintenance of Student Record Systems and Associated Systems
Notice Description
The College holds a perpetual licence to access and use Unit-e and associated software with Capita Business Services. Capita owns and has exclusive rights in respect of all intellectual property rights in the College's current System and is, therefore, the only provider able to meet the College's need for continued support and maintenance of the System. In the light of budget restraints due to the high costs of a new system, it is imperative that business continuity is maintained with the current provider. The software licenced to the College continues to meet the needs of the College.

Procurement Information
The works/goods/services can be provided only by a particular tenderer for reasons that are: technical, connected with the protection of exclusive rights Negotiated without publication of a contract notice / call for competition Justification for the choice of the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice in the OJEU in accordance with Directive 2004/18/EC. The works/goods/services can be provided only by a particular tenderer for reasons that are: technical, connected with the protection of exclusive rights and the need to purchase services which cannot be provided separately other than as an addition to the Services originally provided by the Supplier, pursuant to the exclusion provided under regulations 14 (1)(a) (iii) and 14 (1)(d) (i) (aa) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.
