Notice Description
North Lanarkshire Council (NLC) intend to establish a Framework for services linked to Scottish Attainment Challenge and Pupil Equity Fund. . Key objectives of Scottish Attainment Challenge is to provide opportunities for local authorities in addressing the poverty related attainment gap. . The Pupil Equity funding is additional funding allocated directly to schools with objective to allow flexibility within a local context for schools to target interventions aimed at closing the poverty related attainment gap. . It is envisaged that Service Providers appointed to this Framework will support these objectives. The resultant services will be made available to Primary, Secondary and Additional Support Needs schools within NLC.

This Lot is to provide a service which engages and encourages pupils to learn and develop through participation in a range of learning activities and experiences which may include, but are not limited to, outdoor learning, sport and social activities aimed at closing the poverty related attainment gap. . Counselling, Support and Advice ServicesThis Lot is part of the overall framework for potential providers to support North Lanarkshire Councils objectives to close the poverty related attainment gap. . This Lot is to provide a service which supports nurture and health and wellbeing activities which the local authority provides as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge and or Pupil Equity Fund programmes. These services could include mentoring activities, guidance and one-to-one support. They may include, but are not limited to, group and/or one-to-one work with pupils and/or families, counselling, resilience coaching, speech and language therapy, mediation and services to promote positive mental wellbeing. .
