Notice Description

A consultant is required to co-ordinate and produce Argyll and Bute Council's British Sign Language Plan in both draft and final form.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The consultant will be required to: - Consult with internal stakeholders on the contents of the British Sign Language Plan - Write a draft plan in English and arrange for the draft plan to be translated into British Sign Language - Organise appropriate consultation with British Sign Language users on the contents of the draft plan and attend any necessary consultation events - Write the final British Sign Language Plan in English and arrange for the plan to be translated into British Sign Language. The final plan must be published no later than October 2018 - Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders - Write reports ensuring appropriate sign off at each stage of the project including the Council's Community Services Departmental Management Team, Strategic Management Team and Policy and Resources Committee - Keep Project Stakeholders advised of progress including the identification of any issues and risks and escalate where necessary
