The purpose of this consultancy will be to review PHA's current rent profile and to: - appraise the affordability of its current rents for households likely to be tenants of PHA - this analysis will use rent data for 2018/19; - appraise the affordability of the projected rents in 2019/20 in light of known welfare reforms; - explore the potential numbers of PHA properties likely to have a gross Housing Benefit (HB) eligible rent in excess of the applicable LHA either before or after 2019/20; - set out the key affordability challenges that PHA faces and offer comment of whether any adjustments to the current rent structure may help to reduce affordability pressures; and - review of the affordability of Mid Market Rent (MMR) properties.. Tenderers must complete the Method Statement Questions contained within the ITT Brief document.
