The council invites tender bids for the following requirements in regard to Govan - Partick Bridge Overwater Ground Investigation (GI) The purpose of the ground investigation is to gain a greater understanding of the site and to provide geotechnical and environmental information to better determine the current ground conditions. The investigation will: Provide information on the extent and nature of the drift deposits; Provide information on the extent and nature of the bedrock and the presence/extent of past mine workings across the site; Provide geotechnical parameters for the detailed design; Provide information on the chemical environment of any Made Ground encountered at the site; and Provide information on ground water table to assess the potential ingress of water and artisan conditions.
