This requirement has been procured using the University of Strathclyde Major Works Framework Agreement. A mini competition was released to all four suppliers on the Framework. The works will comprise of a full refurbishment of both the Colville and the Architecture building and will also include a new build structure which will be constructed on top of existing Level 3 roof and will create a new link between the buildings. It is anticipated that this new space will also serve as access to a newly developed sunken garden decked external space.

It is anticipated that this new space will also serve as access to a newly developed sunken garden decked external space. Once complete the building will accommodate innovative, flexible learning across a broad range of disciplines. These facilities will include: -Group working rooms with a capacity of more than 150 people -Spaces capable of supporting different teaching and learning purposes -Support for different education methods, including knowledge exchange and continuing professional development -Access to modern teaching and learning facilities and technology
