Notice Description
Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association are seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, qualified and experienced contractors in order to implement a stair and communal window cleaning Framework to achieve the standard set out within the cleaning outcome criteria documents. Castle Rock Edinvar currently provide cleaning services to circa 515 stairs in the East Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Midlothian and West Lothian regions. The stock within these regions is owned and managed by CREHA and other PfP Group companies. Castle Rock Edinvar currently spend approximately between GBP 280,000 and GBP 350,000 per annum for these services, comprising of both routine cleans and additional deep cleans.

Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association and its Group Partners have a vision of creating neighbourhoods where people choose to live. With internal communal stair and entrance areas that are clean, tidy and well maintained, this can positively contribute to how people feel about both their home and the area where they live. Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association are seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, qualified and experienced contractors in order to implement a stair and communal window cleaning Framework to achieve the standard set out within the cleaning outcome criteria documents. Castle Rock Edinvar currently provide cleaning services to circa 515 stairs in the East Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Midlothian and West Lothian regions. The stock within these regions is owned and managed by CREHA and other PfP Group companies. Castle Rock Edinvar currently spend approximately between 280,000 GBP and 350,000 GBP per annum for these services, comprising of both routine cleans and additional deep cleans. It is expected that each year a proportion of the most affected developments and the commercial cleans would be deep cleaned annually, most likely on a three year cycle as an average. There are various objectives associated with the procurement. These include: Embed an enhanced standard specification across the regions Streamline processes and gain efficiencies Increase the service level provided to customers Harness best practice and innovation with regards to social value aspects As part of the Cleaning Services, Castle Rock Edinvar wish to implement a reporting and management procedure to monitor and log the service delivery of the Contractor in conjunction with the Contract Administrator (CA) and the Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) as specified in the Service Level Agreement. Contract term The initial contract term will be for a period of two (2) years with an option to extend for two (2) further periods of one (1) year each. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition of they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015
Renewal: The initial contract term will be for a period of two (2) years, with an option to extend for two (2) further periods of one (1) year each.
