Summary of the contracting process

The Highland Council is initiating a procurement process for the "IOT Water Temperature Monitoring Solution", aimed at providing a wireless IOT-enabled system for monitoring water temperatures in non-domestic buildings. The procurement is currently in the planning stage, with a total estimated value of £300,000. This tender is focused on the services sector, specifically within the region of Inverness, UK. Interested parties should note that expressions of interest are invited, with a significant future notice date set for 17th September 2018 for further developments.

This tender presents a strategic opportunity for businesses specialising in IoT technology, water management systems, and related software solutions. Companies capable of delivering innovative, network-agnostic technologies that meet the specific requirements for temperature monitoring will find this a compelling opportunity to expand their service offerings. Additionally, firms that have experience working with public sector contracts, especially in contexts that require compliance with funding regulations like those from the European Regional Development Fund, are well-suited to compete in this procurement process.
