National Museums Scotland (the Client) wishes to engage the services of a qualified Flight Display Director and Flying Control Committee to arrange and manage a flying display for Scotland's National Airshow which takes place annually in July. The successful candidate must have extensive experience of: - managing a complex flight display as part of a public airshow in strict compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority's CAP 403 regulations - providing the associated services required to arrange and manage a flight display including preparation and submission of all required paperwork and risk assessments (to client, display teams, pilots, and CAA etc) - experience of formulating and booking a full and exciting flying display programme (using both military and civil aircraft). The contract will start on 1 September 2018 and end on 31 July 2021 (for the period of three Airshows normally in July 2019, 2020 and 2021). There will be an option to extend the contract for up to two years pending satisfactory performance.. Please refer to furher procurment documents in section **
