Summary of the contracting process

The Skills Development Scotland Co. Limited is currently offering a tender titled "Graduate Apprenticeship Challenge Fund", aimed at fostering innovative work-based learning programmes in the education sector. The procurement process is in the Tender stage, with submissions due by 14th September 2018. This initiative targets educational services throughout Scotland, with a budget estimated between £20 million and £32 million over its duration until 2024. The procurement method is open, which allows for a wider participation from interested parties, and submissions should be made electronically via the designated platform.

This tender presents significant opportunities for educational institutions, especially universities and colleges in Scotland, to enhance their offerings through Graduate Apprenticeships, which combine work and study leading to recognised qualifications. Businesses focusing on educational services, training development, consulting, and apprenticeship programme management would be particularly well-suited to participate and compete effectively in this process, thereby contributing to their growth and development while addressing workforce needs in various sectors such as business management, engineering, and cyber security.
