Notice Description
North Ayrshire Council is seeking tender submissions for the Provision of a Graphic Design & Digital Media Framework. North Ayrshire Council is looking to appoint suitably qualified graphic designers, filmmakers and media professionals as detailed further within each lot. The Council is looking to establish a 2 year Framework agreement with the option to extend for upto 24 months years to be exercised at the discretion of the Council. This will be within the following lots: Lot 1 - Basic Design (Minor) Lot 2 - Design - Creative, Concept and Application (Major) Lot 3 - Film-making and Virtual Tours Lot 4 - Audio Visual Services Lot 5 - Marketing Consultancy / Agency
Lot Information
Basic Design (Minor)
North Ayrshire Council delivers a wide range of services, events, products and general information to a wide variety of audiences. The contractor will provide small scale graphic design services to include but not limited to: -Basic design/typesetting including brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, bookmarks, newsletters, stationery, ticket design, invitations, programmes etc. -Resizing of pre-existing artwork -Basic design elements for web use/social media platforms -Advertising design - newspaper/magazine, printed media, outdoor and online etc -Design for internal and external signage -Design for exhibition systems, pop up systems -Design for indoor/outdoor events including banners, flags, backdrops, screen content and general event dressing
Renewal: Option to extend for upto 24 months
Design - Creative, Concept and Application (Major)North Ayrshire Council delivers a wide range of services, events, products and general information to a wide variety of audiences. High quality design is fundamental to effectively communicating to our prescribed target markets and this can range from mass marketing campaigns down to one off or specialised/niche promotions. The contractor is therefore required to delivery high quality design solutions including, but not limited to: -Brand development - research, design, application and creation of brand guidelines -Logo design -Graphic design services for printed and/or digital products including brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, bookmarks, newsletters, stationery, ticket design, invitations, programmes etc. -Design for web including design elements, pdfs, animations and digital publishing platforms -Advertising design - newspaper/magazine, printed media, outdoor and online etc -Design for internal and external signage -Design for exhibition systems, pop up systems, point of sale, vehicle livery etc -Design for indoor/outdoor events including banners, flags, backdrops, screen content and general event dressing -Large format graphics -Design elements as required for incorporation into websites, apps, e-news/e-blasts etc. -Provision of subcontracted services as required including copywriting, photography, illustrations, animations, translation services etc.

Film-making and Virtual ToursNorth Ayrshire Council delivers a wide range of services, events, products and general information to a wide variety of audiences. Film is becoming increasingly important in the documentation and communication of key information about our services, projects and events. To produce a wide range of corporate and commercial films and videos including but not limited to: -Live indoor/outdoor event documentation including: -Major events, festivals and championships -Local community events -Attendance at official photo calls and launches -Videography of facilities and venues -General project documentation -Working on collaborative film and video projects with key partners and clients -Promotional videos for use at major exhibitions and conferences -"Talking head" style interviews and case studies
Renewal: Option to extend for upto 24 months
Audio Visual ServicesNorth Ayrshire Council delivers a wide range of events to a wide variety of audiences. Professional audio visual services is important to ensure best practice, innovation and clear communication at various events. To deliver audio visual services at various events including but not limited to: -Award ceremonies -Conferences and workshops -Election Counts

Marketing Consultancy / AgencyNorth Ayrshire Council delivers a wide range of services, events, products and general information to a wide variety of audiences. The contractor will provide planning, creative development, project delivery and evaluation of marketing and communication campaigns as detailed in the specific brief for such services. The Marketing requirements may include but are not limited to: -Strategic marketing planning including competitor analysis, SWOT, PEST etc -Media planning and buying including the negotiation of media partnerships/sponsorship for key projects -Attendance at project meetings -Copywriting and proofing -Brand development - research, design, application and creation of brand guidelines -Graphic design for printed and/or digital products including brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, bookmarks, newsletters, stationery, ticket design, invitations, programmes etc. -Design for web including design elements, pdfs, animations and digital publishing platforms -Design for internal and external signage -Design for exhibition systems, pop up systems, point of sale, vehicle livery etc -Design for indoor/outdoor events including banners, flags, backdrops, screen content and general event dressing -Large format graphics -Digital marketing including - email marketing, pay per click, search engine optimisation etc -Social media content creation as per brief -Sponsorship activation as per brief -Provision of subcontracted services as required including photography, illustrations, animations, translation services etc. -Regular reporting and post project review as per brief -Facilitating stakeholder workshops
