SRUC is seeking to procure the services of a professional research company to undertake a telephone survey of a stratified sample of farmers from across England and Wales in 2018. The supplier shall administer an opt-out phase comprising the issue of a postal letter to 7,500 contacts, with reply paid envelope and adjustments of contacts' database for main survey returns. Based on SRUC's previous experience it is expected that 20% (i.e. 1,500) of those contacted will agree to be interviewed. The supplier shall then conduct a telephone interview survey of 1,500 farmers from the sample after the opt-out phase. Please see Schedule 2 of the Invitation to Tender document for more details.
