Redevelopment of operating railway station comprising upgrade of forecourt entrance level, new glazed roof, extending entrance area, formation of shell retail units, alterations to station accommodation, upgrading toilets and bridge internal finishes, refurbishment of platform level waiting rooms, upgrading and extending platform level station accommodation, new retaining wall, upgrading forecourt to tie in with streetscape upgrade works by North Lanarkshire Council, demolition of derelict building and formation of car park adjacent to Platform 1. Form of Contract - SBCC Standard Building Contract with Quantities 2016. Complete design for CDP elements including all necessary Network Rail and Local Authority approvals.
