The scope of works includes; Divert the existing West Burn Culvert to a new culvert outfall already constructed within the Shawfield Phase 2 boundary. Carry out earthworks to create a working corridor along the route of the old west burn. Carry out probing works to locate the exact line of the old culvert. Carry out grouting works to completely fill the existing west burn Culvert and two existing manholes Earthworks to reinstate the working corridor following completion of the grouting works.
