National Framework Agreement for the supply of mass spectrometry and chromatography equipment
Notice Description
1.1 The Authority is seeking Contractor(s) for the supply of mass spectrometry and chromatography equipment required for the efficient functioning of laboratories in UK Higher and Further Education Institutions, NHS Scotland and other Scottish Public-Sector Organisations. Products are divided into eight separate lots; mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, gas chromatography with mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry, forthcoming systems and modular/ combined systems, accessories and consumables and equipment servicing.
Lot Information
Mass Spectrometers
Including, but not limited to stand alone mass spectrometers (MS); inductively-coupled mass spectrometers (ICP-MS); capillary electrophoresis mass spectrometers (CE-MS); and other interfaces which are neither solely gas chromatography nor liquid chromatography.
Gas ChromatographsIncluding, but not limited to: For example, Flameionisation, Electron capture detector and other detectors which are not specifically Mass Spectrometers.
Gas Chromatographs with Mass SpectrometersIncluding, but not limited to: For example, Time of Flight (ToF); Quadropole (QMS) and other Gas Chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry equipment.
Liquid ChromatographsIncluding, but not limited to: For example, Ultraviolet fluorescence and other detectors which are neither Gas Chromatography or Mass Spectrometry.
Liquid Chromatographs coupled with Mass SpectrometersIncluding, but not limited to: Matrix assisted laser desorption/ionisation (MALDI), ION trap and other Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry equipment.
Forthcoming Systems and Modular/Combined SystemsAny forthcoming technology which falls under the heading of Mass Spectrometry or Chromatography falls into this lot; as do any systems/interfaces/detectors made from a combination not mentioned in any of the other lots
Related Consumables and AccessoriesAny consumables or accessories which are specific to any of the equipment featured in any of the other lots in this Framework Agreement.
Equipment ServicingComprehensive or preventative maintenance of standard equipment out with the agreed warranty period.
