CVHA are inviting suppliers to tender for an opportunity to fulfill the the re-roofing and insulated external render refurbishment project across social rented properties of solid nofine concrete and cavity block construction. The works are to be carried out within social let houses located in a shared social and private housing development. The estate is primarily housing built circa post war with access via the public road network; all streets are of a residential nature.

The project consists of all works required to replace the existing roof coverings and re-render the properties with an insulated system. The works are to be completed to the selected list of Clyde Valley Housing Association properties. Works shall generally include: Scaffolding; Temporary works to remove all fencing to allow access for works; Temporary works to relocate all TV aerials and satellite dishes; Down taking of existing rainwater and roof line products; Stripping of existing roof coverings, including batten, counter battens and felt; It is expected that removal and replacement of sarking boards shall be required; Replace roof covering with concrete interlock roof tile including, felt counter battens and battens; Install new roofline products as required; Install new rainwater goods as required; Undertake works to hammer test render and establish fixing requirements where insulation to be included; Remove existing bossed render and dub out as required; Install either EWI system in accordance with system manufacturers recommendations; Carry out site clearance and clean, reinstate fencing including alterations as required, re-instate all TV aerials and satellite dishes;
