Design and Installation of Greendykes Footbridge
Notice Description
The main works comprise the construction of a 3m wide shared use path, bridge abutments, and the procurement and installation of at 4.0m wide bridge across the Niddrie Burn adjacent to the recent housing development by Persimmon Homes off Pringle Drive. The existing road and footway accessed from Pringle Drive will be extended as shown on the contract drawings for a length of approximately 16m. The installation of the bridge aims to improve connectivity between the existing residential area to the South, and the proposed residential area to the North. The path alignment will commence at each end of the bridge for a length of 1m. These paths will be tied into existing paths to the South and new paths to the North by the developer of the area to the North of the bridge.
