Provision of Sheriff Officer and Dilligence Services
Notice Description
The supply of various Sheriff Officer Services, including diligence services, as specified in the Act of Sederunt (Fees of Sheriff Officers) (No.2) 2002 as amended (the Act of Sederunt) and as may be amended from time to time during the currency of any contract to follow hereon, and the service of documents and letters. Such Services will include, but may not be restricted to the following, full list is within the statement of requirements:- -Service of writs, summonses and incidental applications -Service of citations -Service of interdicts -Service of child protection orders alongside Social Services who may require to take possession of a child in terms of the Children's Hearing(Scotland) Act 2011 -Service of Orders under the Adult Support & Protection (Scotland) Act, the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act and the Mental Health Care and Treatment (Scotland) Act -Arranging and executing ejections -Arranging and executing attachments

North Ayrshire Council invites Tenders by suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of Sheriff Officer and Dilligence Services. The contract start date will be 3rd January 2018, for two years with the option to extend for 2 x 12 month periods, at the discretion of North Ayrshire Council depending on performance and funding. The scope includes the supply of various Sheriff Officer Services, including diligence services, as specified in the Act of Sederunt (Fees of Sheriff Officers) (No.2) 2002 as amended (the Act of Sederunt) and as may be amended from time to time during the currency of any contract to follow hereon, and the service of documents and letters.
Renewal: Option to extend for 2 x 12 month periods, at the discretion of North Ayrshire Council depending on performance and funding.
