Provision of Fire Stopping Surveys (Re-issue)
Notice Description
Surveys required @ 24 retirement courts. Contractor required to: - Conduct non-destructive surveys of no less than 20% of each flat type within each court and report on the fire and smoke integrity of each property surveyed - Conduct non-destructive surveys of all common areas and report on the fire and smoke integrity of each property surveyed - Conduct non-destructive surveys of all plant rooms and electrical cupboards, and report on the fire and smoke integrity of each property surveyed - Remove all corridor riser panels, assess the condition of inter-level fire stopping and report on the findings of each survey - Recommend appropriate specifications for sealing those penetrations through walls, roofs, floors, service risers and voids that have been identified during each survey - Present the assessment and remedial recommendations for each site to Cairn management in pdf format
