Atrium has established a Framework with 4 suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to provide refurbishment/upgrade works to approximately 780 properties in East Ayrshire and one in South Ayrshire, to meet the 'Homes fit for 21st Century Living Standard'. Refurbishment/Upgrade works will be made up, where required, in part or in full to the following: - Energy Efficiency Upgrade Works - Kitchen replacement works - Bathroom replacement and upgrade works - Internal wall and ceiling works - Internal Woodwork and flooring works - Electrical Safety Works - Heating Alterations - External door and window replacement/repair - External Elevations Repairs This is not divided into lots as a single contractor is required for each phase of the works.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

    "description": "4 contractors have been selected onto the Framework. There will be no guarantee however, that all of the framework partners will be utilised in this project. These works will be phased over the term of the contract at an estimate rate of 100 properties per year with an initial phase of around 50 properties. Both elements (contract duration and numbers) will be subject to Atrium's available resources. Awards to the Framework have been based on the most economically advantageous tenders and contractors ranked with a direct award being made to the top ranked contractor. If the top ranked contractor cannot fulfil the requirements, the next placed contractor will be selected. Where further call-offs run simultaneously with live contracts, Atrium may open negotiations with the second placed, or any other of the Framework Contractors. Future phases of the works will be awarded through negotiation with the top ranked contractor. If Atrium consider negotiation is not achieving best value, a mini-tendering procedure will be carried out between the framework contractors on a quality and price basis with the contract being awarded to the most economically advantageous tender. Community Benefits over this Framework will include a range of benefits taking in employment, training, support for local businesses and investment in community initiatives, with the outcomes shaped by the priorities set by Atrium Homes and consultation with the local community at each settlement across East & South Ayrshire.
